Dr. John Payne

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. John Payne is a Montgomery native and a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he met his wife Jenni. He then attended dental school at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he served as Chief Resident while completing specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Payne moved back to Montgomery, where he partnered with his childhood dentist, Dr. Tommy James, to expand Dr. James’ practice and open Montgomery Pediatric Dentistry on Bell Road in 1999. Dr. Payne and Jenni have two sons, J and Bragg, and they enjoy spending time together at Lake Martin and their farm.

Dr. David Stanley

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. David Stanley is a Montgomery native and a graduate of Trinity Presbyterian School. He received his undergraduate degree from Birmingham Southern College, where he played baseball and met his wife, Natalie. Dr. Stanley attended dental school at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and served as Chief Resident. He also completed a Fellowship in the treatment of special needs children at UAB’s Sparks Clinic. He is board-certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Stanley and Natalie have two sons, Coleman and Hayes, and twin daughters, Delaney and Cameron. Dr. Stanley is active in leadership in his church and his children’s school and spends his free time attending his children’s activities.

Dr. Rob Owen

Orthodontist

Dr. Rob Owen is a Montgomery native and a graduate of Trinity Presbyterian School. Dr. Owen received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University, where he met his wife, Susan. He attended dental school at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry and received his Masters of Science and Certification in Orthodontics from the University of Iowa. He is board-certified with the American Board of Orthodontics and was past President of the Alabama Association of Orthodontics. After graduating from the University of Iowa, he moved back to Montgomery to join Montgomery Pediatric Dentistry, which then became Montgomery Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics in 2004. He and Susan have two children, Caroline and Will. In his free time, Dr. Owen enjoys playing golf, hunting, watching football, and spending time with his family at Lake Martin. He has also been voted “Best Orthodontist” in Montgomery Advertiser’s Best of the River Region Community Choice Awards 2022.

Dr. Davis Denney

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Davis Denney is from Lanett, Alabama and a graduate of Springwood High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Denney attended dental school at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and completed a Fellowship in the treatment of special needs children at UAB’s Sparks Clinic. He is board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Denney has a passion for missions, especially involving children. He helped start a clinic in Haiti to serve the community of Jacmel and has been there many times to help with the physical and spiritual needs of the people there. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Children’s Hope. Dr. Denney and his wife, Sara, have 5 children, Davis, Dawson, Kate, Kennedy, and Keller. They are very active in their church and Dr. Denney enjoys coaching his son’s baseball and basketball teams.

Dr. Frank Litchfield

Orthodontist

Dr. Frank Litchfield is a Montgomery native and a graduate of Loveless Academic Magnet School (LAMP). He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University in the fall of 2009, where he met his wife, Lauren. He then attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry for both dental and orthodontic residency. He is board certified with the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Litchfield and Lauren live in Pike Road with their two children, Ava Hayes and Fitz. They are active members of Century Church, where Dr. Litchfield co-leads a small group and volunteers in the children’s ministry. When he is not straightening teeth, he loves to golf, hunt, and coach his children’s teams.

Dr. Drew Owen

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Drew Owen grew up on a farm in the small community of Massey, AL. He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Dr. Owen completed residency in pediatric dentistry at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, a level 1 trauma center and top 10 children’s hospital in the nation. He was a member of the cleft craniofacial team, specializing in treating cleft lip and palate. The focus of his training was trauma, general anesthesia, oral conscious sedation, and IV sedation. He is board-certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He and his wife, Carson, have two children, Meryl Juliette and Franklin Lawrence. In his free time, Dr. Owen enjoys running, reading, playing guitar, tennis, and Auburn sports.
